Yorkshire Universities provides a forum for the 11 higher education institutions in Yorkshire and the Humber to use their collective expertise, resources, skills and influence to maximise their impact in the region and beyond. 

Yorkshire Universities is a charity and company limited by guarantee. The Vice-Chancellors and Principals are the members of the Company and form the Board.

The Board of Directors meets four times a year to discuss opportunities for collaboration and issues of concern. The Board agrees on the strategic focus and policy for Yorkshire Universities.

Development and delivery of the strategy for Yorkshire Universities is led by an Executive Management Group of Pro Vice-Chancellors who meet four times a year.

Strategic direction and delivery of collaboration supporting the knowledge transfer and innovation agenda for Yorkshire is supported by the Yorkshire Universities group of Knowledge Transfer Directors. The Knowledge Transfer Directors Group meets four times a year.
